ERIN VOGEL RACING

Erin was first introduced to the thrill of speed in her mid-twenties when taking her street car to local track events. Ten years later she is an accomplished racecar driver, performance driving instructor, and event organizer. She has progressed her way up the ladder racing a variety of cars from Porsche Boxsters to factory-built GT4 and GT3 racecars. In 2021 she became the first woman to win a race in the Pro-Am class globally in SRO GT World Challenge America, also earning 3 podiums and a pole position.

WOMEN

in

MOTORSPORT

Erin is passionate about being a role model, mentor, and leader in the effort to get more women into motorsports careers - but also to get them taking chances and populating spaces that they wouldn’t otherwise see themselves entering. She, like many others, believes that visibility is the first step towards that goal. Closely related to visibility is the need for education - particularly in spreading the knowledge that unconventional career paths exist, that they are open to women, as well as teaching young girls both the intellectual, professional, and hands-on the skills that will help them succeed in the fields of science, engineering, technology, and math.
